Summary of role and responsibilities:
You will have the opportunity to join an exciting, privately owned business which is thriving in an exciting market – where e-commerce is a key focus globally. You will work within a growing team which is dedicated to driving the performance of online sales on platforms like Bol.com, Coolblue, Fonq, etc.
Day to day responsibilities will be focused on the management and development of these most strategic customers to deliver business goals.
You should have experience working with marketplaces on this level and have knowledge of the digital marketing tools available. Additional experience with other ecommerce accounts will also be a valuable asset.
This is you:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in account management or e-commerce, with a focus on business development, project management, product management and inventory management.
- Knowledge of the various business models in the market (pure player, market place, consignment, etc).
- Wants to drive digitization in the relationship, from EDI to content sharing and pushing customer reviews.
- Structured person, working from a predetermined strategy, but also spotting opportunities on the go.
- Experience with setting up sales forecasts, both in revenue and SKU level per customer and on an aggregated level.
- Strong negotiating and communication skills, strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Flexible mindset, able to work with thight deadlines in a very dynamic company.
- A true team player, you put the customer, the company and the team ahead of your own goals.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, additional languages are a plus.
- Home based in either our HQ near Ghent (Belgium) or our office in Wateringen (NL). Open to travel to our clients (NL) at least once a month.
